Florida-based provider group purchases

Both Centene Corp. and Humana Inc. in recent months have purchased Florida-based provider groups in an effort to boost their public-sector presence in the state. Humana currently controls 32.68% of Florida's Medicare Advantage market, while Centene enrolls 15.90% of the state's managed Medicaid members.
