Learning
Join n4a for the third in a five-part webinar
series, engAGED: Increasing Social Engagement for Older Adults,
focused on increasing the engagement of older adults to promote health and
wellness. The series highlights resources from our partners on the engAGED: National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults —
the National Center for Creative Aging, Generations United, Osher
Institutes for Lifelong Learning, and the Older Adults Technology Services
(OATS).
The event takes
place on June 20th from 2:00 PM EDT - 3:00 PM EDT
This webinar will be presented by the National Resource Center
for Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes. Steve Thaxton, executive director
of the Resource Center, will host a discussion of what lifelong learning
entails, best practices for engaging older adults through lifelong
learning, and how it contributes to health and wellness. Presenters for all
of the webinars will share inspiring stories, tips, and resources to help
the Aging Network increase the social engagement of older adults.
