Top 10 Plans Represent More Than 90% of New York Managed Medicaid Market Share

New York contracts with 18 managed Medicaid insurers, with Fidelis Care, Inc., Healthfirst and UnitedHealthcare leading the pack. Following its acquisition of Fidelis Care, Centene Corp. will become the largest managed Medicaid presence in New York, enrolling more than a quarter of the state's 4.4 million beneficiaries.
