We are looking for a professional to serve as an expert in (1)
Leading the development and/or implementation of policy related to
monitoring and evaluation of demonstrations under Medicaid or other similar
national health insurance program to promote program innovation and
improvement in coverage, access to care, health outcomes and program costs;
AND (2) Collaborating with stakeholders to assess and address technical
needs to ensure successful program administration; AND (3) Directing teams
and other resources to establish or enhance a program to support
operational advancements needed to accomplish an organization's mission;
AND (4) Producing a broad set of technical written products (i.e. health
policy statements, special terms and conditions, and guidelines for
monitoring and evaluation of demonstration proposals) to ensure accurate
policy implementation or compliance.
As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist, you will serve as the
Division Director and in that capacity, supervise, direct, plan, and
coordinate division staff and activities providing subject matter expertise
related to monitoring and evaluation of section 1115
demonstrations. You will establish the overall internal
policies, procedures, objectives, and priorities. You will also
provide direction and oversee contracts and other operational development
and maintenance activities to support the approval, monitoring and
evaluation of Medicaid 1115 demonstrations. You will be dealing with
officials from other work units and providing advice to managers at higher
levels in the organization.
