61 Percent of Americans Believe Trump is Taking Strong Enough Measures Against Virus
The public is rallying around the president (The Hill). A Monmouth poll has it a 50
percent (Washington Examiner). Trump is worried a
bad economy can lead to suicides (Washington Examiner). From GOP
spokesperson Elizabeth Harington: Dr. Fauci on working w/President Trump: “He asks
a lot of questions. That’s his nature. He’s constantly asking questions. And I
never, in the multiple times I’ve done that, where I said, ‘For scientific
reasons we really should do this,’ that he hasn’t said, ‘Let’s do it’”
