TDI revises prompt pay bulletin

The Texas Department of Insurance has issued a revised bulletin on prompt pay requirements in response to questions about when out-of-network claims are subject to the requirements.

The revised bulletin clarifies that prompt pay deadlines apply to out-of-network claims only in limited circumstances, as specified in Texas Insurance Code sections 843.351 and 1301.069.
