Influenza vaccination may decrease mortality, CV
risks
Vaccination against influenza was linked to a reduced risk of
all-cause and cardiovascular-related mortality, as well as fewer major CV
events in patients with cardiovascular disease, compared with no vaccination,
researchers reported in the Journal of the American Heart Association. The
meta-analysis did not show that the risk of myocardial infarction was affected
by influenza vaccination.
