"Authorized" wasn't the same thing as "approved"

"Authorized" wasn't the same thing as "approved"

Why it matters: In Friday's WYWW, I included a story about the CDC issuing new travel guidelines for people who have been vaccinated. I erroneously wrote that people who have been fully vaccinated with "an FDA-approved vaccine" could feel safer to fly. WYWWer Bruce Sofge emailed to let me know I should have written "FDA-authorized" because while these vaccines have received emergency "authorization" from the FDA to be used, they have not gone through the much longer process of being "FDA-approved." I'm sorry for the mistake.
