University of Illinois Study on Asian Family Caregivers

University of Illinois Study on Understanding the Experiences of Family Caregivers of Older Asian Immigrants Minakshi Raj, assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, is conducting a study to understand the experiences of 1.5- and 2nd-generation English-speaking family caregivers of older Asian immigrants. Specifically, she seeks to talk with people who immigrated as a young child or who were born in the U.S. Discussion may be around a range of experiences, including challenges related to health care. The study involves one 30-to-45-minute interview that will be conducted via videoconferencing or telephone, in English. Compensation for participation may be available.
