University of
Illinois Study on Understanding the Experiences of Family Caregivers of
Older Asian Immigrants
Minakshi Raj,
assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, is
conducting a study to understand the experiences of 1.5- and 2nd-generation
English-speaking family caregivers of older Asian immigrants. Specifically,
she seeks to talk with people who immigrated as a young child or who were
born in the U.S.
Discussion may be around a range of experiences, including
challenges related to health care. The study involves one 30-to-45-minute
interview that will be conducted via videoconferencing or telephone, in
English. Compensation for participation may be available.
Please contact Dr. Raj with interest and/or any questions: mraj@illinois.edu.
