humbled to lead the groundbreaking of the future Tuskegee Airmen
Texas State Veterans Home in Fort Worth this month. As a Navy
Reserve Veteran, I have profound respect for these men who inspired
future generation of miitary and civil rights leaders alike.

On Friday,
Aug. 19, Texas Veterans Land Board Chairman George P. Bush broke
ground and unveiled the name of the VLB's tenth nursing home,
"The Tuskegee Airmen Texas State Veterans Home."
The Fort Worth area is known to have been home to at least five
former members of the elite group of World War II military
