- Roseville leaders have agreed to give police officers and firefighters
$2,000 bonuses using some of the city's federal COVID-19 aid.
The city is spending $136,000 of its $3.8 million American Rescue Plan
allocation on the bonuses, which were included in recent union contract
negotiations. City officials believed the payments were the right thing to
do, said City Manager Patrick Trudgeon, noting there is no work-from-home
option for first responders.
