All cancer patients deserve quality, affordable care. But today, they don’t always get it. That’s why LLS is committed to driving lifesaving policies that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

But we can’t do it alone. At the heart of those efforts are individuals like you. Whether you’re a blood cancer patient, survivor, caregiver, healthcare provider or simply someone who cares, your voice is helping create the change patients are counting on.

By attending this webinar, you’ll learn about some of the barriers cancer patients face every day – and the solutions LLS and advocates nationwide are pushing lawmakers to enact in 2022. Here’s a taste:

Nine in 10 Americans find health insurance confusing and believe people can get duped into buying poor-quality coverage. That’s why we support funding for Consumer Assistance Programs, which can help consumers make sense of it all.
While four out of five children diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. will survive, even one death is too many. That’s why we’re advocating for $80 million in federal funding for childhood cancer research.
Just 5% of patients enrolled in clinical trials are Black, which is far too few. We support affordable, easy access to trials for all patients, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or background.
