Today, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid
Services (CMS) released updates to the Coverage and Reimbursement of COVID-19
Vaccines, Vaccine Administration, and Cost Sharing under Medicaid, the
Children’s Health Insurance Program, and Basic Health Program toolkit. This version of the toolkit includes updated
information on dental billing codes and the wind down of the Health Resources
Services Administration’s uninsured and underinsured funds. CMS has also
streamlined language on the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers
for Disease Control & Prevention's (CDC) vaccine authorizations. For the
latest information on CDC recommendations and FDA authorizations, see their
respective websites at https://www.fda.gov/emergency-preparedness-and-response/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/covid-19-vaccines
and https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/stay-up-to-date.html.
