D CEO's Will Maddox writes about the Texas Medical Board's
decision to reinstate the license of Plano psychiatrist Robert James Harden,
who is accused of engaging in a nonconsensual sex act with an elderly family
member living at his house.
The board determined that Harden's continued practice of
medicine won’t constitute a continuing threat to public welfare. His employer
placed him on leave and he is not allowed to be at the facility.
He was arrested last year in November and released on bond. His
felony trial is slated to begin in September.
