Medicine, Gregory Sonnenberg, Ph.D., led work that identified ZBTB46 as the
key molecular protector of gut health. A factor produced by ILC3 immune
cells, ZBTB46 helps dampen inflammation and protect against infection in the
intestines, and could be a valuable target for both preventive and
therapeutic strategies for colorectal cancer. |
