HHS Increases Access to Tamiflu through the Strategic National Stockpile

Today, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), announced that they are making additional supply of Tamiflu available to jurisdictions to respond to an increased demand for the antiviral during this flu season, including through the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS).

Biden-Harris Administration Continues Unprecedented Efforts to Increase Ownership Transparency in Health Care Settings

Today, in support of President Joe Biden’s Executive Order on promoting competition and the Administration’s commitment to transparency, HHS is releasing ownership data for all Medicare-certified hospitals. Now, anyone will be able to review detailed information on the ownership of more than 7,000 hospitals certified to participate in the Medicare program on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) website.

Through the National Plan, HHS and its federal partners work to improve the trajectory of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) research, support people living with dementia and their caregivers, and encourage action to reduce risk factors.

Today, the Biden-Harris administration released a federal plan for ending homelessness in America that starts with the ambitious goal of reducing homelessness 25% by 2025. All In: The Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness builds on the success of previous plans, will do more than any previous federal effort to systemically prevent homelessness and combat systemic racism that has created racial and ethnic disparities.
