Today, NFTuesday, we’re celebrating a revolutionary, new
way of donating to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
(LLS): NFT Philanthropy! NFT stands for a non-fungible
token, a unique file with unique value – a little like
cryptocurrency, but with a twist - instead of simply donating
crypto to LLS, NFT Philanthropy involves selling
non-fungible art and donating a percentage of the
profits.
When twenty-seven-year-old Daniel was diagnosed with stage
three nodular sclerosing Hodgkin lymphoma (NSHL), LLS’s
resources helped him understand his disease and his
treatment options. Isolated to protect himself from
COVID-19 and unable to work, he revisited his love of art
and ended up creating a unique way to support fellow
patients and families and fundraise for LLS.
