Despite an overall decrease in worldwide smartphone
shipments, Apple and Samsung held their place as the top two players for
2022. Specifically, despite facing economic uncertainties
due to inflation and decreased consumer demand, U.S.-based tech giant Apple
shipped 72.3 million iPhones while South Korean leader Samsung saw a 15%
year-on-year drop with 58 units shipped - representing a total of 1 billion+
phones across both companies combined. But the decline in sales is the largest ever seen
in the industry, and sales are at a low not seen since 2013... |
