This presentation will convey Indigenous stories and teachings that will nourish our hearts, minds, and physical well-being. The values learned from plants and healthy connections with the land will provide an energetic dialogue for community wellness.

Objectives:

  • Describe Indigenous-based knowledge about planting food
  • Share stories promoting the cultural value of corn, beans, and squash
  • Generate discussion of the cultural strengths of land-based learning
