Approximately 96 million American adults have
prediabetes, a serious health condition where blood sugar levels are
higher than normal, but not high enough to be diagnosed as type 2
diabetes. Additionally, 80% of people with prediabetes don’t know they
have it. Without taking action, prediabetes may lead to type 2
diabetes.
There is no cure for type 2 diabetes, but
prediabetes can be reversed with lifestyle changes such as getting
regular physical activity and making changes to your diet.
If you have prediabetes, there is still time to
prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. Take the Prediabetes Risk Test to
learn if you might have prediabetes.
