The national average monthly bid amount for Part D premiums is...
...projected to drop 11.5% to $51.28 in 2019. Bids already dropped
about 5% in 2018, largely due to decreased utilization of costly specialty
drugs and the impact of the Bipartisan Budget Act. The average beneficiary Part
D premium is also expected to drop 3% to $32.50 in the coming plan year.
