Montana voters in last week's midterm elections chose to...
...strike
down a ballot measure that would have extended the state's Medicaid expansion
funding, which is set to run out in June 2019. If passed, the move would have
used increased taxes on all tobacco products sold in the state as Medicaid
revenue. Montana currently has 276,227 Medicaid members, about 100,000 of whom
are eligible through expansion.
