...NextLevel Health Partners, Inc., in what would have been a $50 million transaction, according to an April 14 U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing from the insurer. Molina abandoned the deal "due to the seller's stated unwillingness to close pursuant to the terms of the acquisition agreement." NextLevel is an Illinois Medicaid insurer that currently serves 61,007 members, which would have offered a 27.7% boost to Molina's Illinois Medicaid presence.
