Meet Keifer Marshall, WWII Marines Veteran

Born and raised in Temple, Keifer Marshall served as a Marine rifleman during WWII.

He took part in the famous Battle of Iwo Jima. He and members of his unit were cut off by the Japanese and spent over 36 hours behind enemy lines.

As if this wasn't remarkable enough, he also was a Longhorn, started his own business, and served as the Mayor of Temple.
