• Minnesota reports single-day record for COVID 19 deaths for second consecutive day

The unprecedented number of COVID-19 deaths continued Thursday with another 72 fatalities and 7,877 cases announced by state health officials. It is another record-setting one-day increase in the state's coronavirus death tally. The previous high was reached just on Wednesday when 67 deaths were announced by the Minnesota Department of Health. We are tracking the spread of COVID-19 here. Minnesota is receiving 25 staffed ambulances from the federal government to help hospitals transfer patients so medical centers are better prepared for a surge of those critically ill with COVID-19.
