SDOH raise COVID-19 risks in Hispanic communities

Hispanic adults in Denver have disproportionately high rates of COVID-19
infections, deaths and hospital stays, and Hispanics with COVID-19 were more
likely than whites to report working while sick and working in a job considered
essential, according to a CDC report. The report says that while Hispanics are
not a homogenous group, health and health care systems should work with
community organizations to help address social determinants of health.
