US plans to boost J&J COVID-19 vaccine production
The Biden administration is exploring various options to boost
manufacturing of Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine once the drug is
authorized, including invoking the Defense Production Act, noting the vaccine's
current manufacturing level is lower than hoped. The administration will also
use the DPA to increase production of at-home COVID-19 tests and surgical
gloves.
