Ageism can be found in many industry sectors
Industries where older adults may encounter ageism or age
discrimination include business, technology, marketing, hospitality, retail,
health care and energy, writes finance expert Marjolein Dilven. Common myths
about older workers include that they resist change, aren't motivated, avoid
career development programs, and are less productive.
