Coping strategies help older people through pandemic
Survey data show older adults have reported better mental health
during the COVID-19 pandemic, compared with younger demographics. Erin
Emery-Tiburcio, co-director of the Center for Excellence in Aging at Rush
University Medical Center, said people may learn coping strategies as they age
and are less frustrated with day-to-day life because they "have a bigger
picture of life to look at."
