Vaccination rollout in the US prevented nearly 300,000 deaths

The rollout of COVID-19 vaccinations in the United States has prevented about 279,000 deaths and up to 1.5 million hospitalizations in the country, according to a study published this week from the Yale School of Public Health and the Commonwealth Fund. As of today, at least 67 percent of adults in the country have been vaccinated with at least one dose.
