Yesterday, CentraCare announced a new visitor policy —two
healthy adult visitors allowed for adult and minor patients — and that the
organization is resuming testing for people who are asymptomatic but have
been in close contact to someone with COVID-19 or who plan to travel. The
changes come amid hospitalizations and positivity rates declining. On
Monday, CentraCare reported 58 inpatients — about 57% of whom are
unvaccinated — hospitalized for COVID-19. Of those, eight require critical
care and five are on ventilators. Of the five on ventilators, four were
unvaccinated and the other was not up to date with a booster. |
