Affordable Connectivity Program

Stearns County Commissioner Tarryl Clark was at the White House on Monday for the announcement of a program helping low-income households get high-speed internet service at little to no cost. Twenty leading internet providers have agreed to discount prices for qualifying households as a federal initiative. It's estimated 40% of households in the country qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program. "For many students, seniors, veterans, and families in our region, this will make a real difference," Clark said.
