Business Insider: Americans just won’t stop quitting their jobs. A record-breaking 4.5
million Americans quit their jobs in March, amounting to 3.0% of the workforce.
It’s a trend that kicked off nearly a year ago in April 2021, when 4 million
people said “I quit” (Business Insider).
Washington Post: That insatiable need for new workers has forced employers across the economy to offer higher pay and better benefits. Wages have risen 4.7 percent in the past year, although they have not kept up with inflation, which has grown 8.5 percent in the same period (Washington Post).
