You may know about the beauty of rural America —
but here’s something you may not know: About 60 million people, nearly 1 in 5
Americans, live in rural areas.
Unfortunately, rural communities don’t have the same kind of access to
resources that most urban and suburban communities do.
Here at the American Heart Association, we’re working to change that —
and in the meantime, we put together a quick quiz to help you learn
about how those living in rural America face challenges that lead to gaps in
health and care.
