Why it matters: Not everyone who dons a Santa Claus outfit is
looking to make serious money doing so, but for agencies like HireSanta.com,
the fact that booking demand for St. Nick has returned to pre-pandemic levels
is great news. But being Santa isn't cheap. The cost of costume upkeep and long
commutes to gigs can add up quickly, especially during a time of economic
inflation. And that means if you want to book Santa, you might have to pay a bit
more than expected.
