Son who carries younger-onset gene shares his
Alzheimer’s story
Juan Padilla Arriaga’s mother, Eva,
was 44 years old when she was diagnosed with a rare form of
younger-onset Alzheimer’s known as autosomal dominant and died at
51. Juan has tested positive for the PSEN1 gene that runs in his
family; on our blog, he shares how he’s fighting for his future.
