Based on
recent legislation passed, veterans of many different eras and
their survivors are now potentially eligible for compensation
benefits. If you served in Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Guam,
or American Samoa during the Vietnam era or served in the Gulf from
1990 to the present, the new legislation has expanded eligibility
for compensation benefits for veterans and their survivors as a
result of certain exposures.
The
USDVA is holding two PACT Act Information Clinics on December 6 and
7. Veterans, survivors, and beneficiaries are
encouraged to stop by and speak with a VA representative to file a
claim, check on the status of an existing claim, or get questions
answered.
