people in the U.S. collectively lost an astounding $6 billion dollars due to
fraud and other deceptive practices in 2022 alone - with the average victim
losing at least $500. This statistic only looks set for further growth;
preliminary research by FTC has already pegged losses at $6+ billion thus far
into 2023, with individuals now facing median losses of around $650 per
