La. health system opening clinics in underserved
areas
Ochsner Health will spend $100 million in the next five years to
build 15 health centers in underserved communities in Louisiana, and the health
system is using geomapping to select locations where the clinics will have the
highest impact, says CEO Warner Thomas. The clinics will use the Unite Us
platform to link patients with social service organizations and will offer
telehealth and other digital tools for routine care.
