Biden announces key health team members
President-elect Joe Biden has officially announced the key members
of his health team, selecting California Attorney General Xavier Becerra as HHS
secretary, Harvard infectious disease expert Rochelle Walensky as the next CDC
director and Vivek Murthy as surgeon general. Anthony Fauci will remain the
director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and will
also become Biden's chief medical adviser.
