US records most weekly COVID-19 deaths since April

Anthony Fauci warned that the US has not yet seen the full impact of
Thanksgiving gatherings on COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, as the country
recorded 15,658 COVID-19 fatalities over the past week, marking the deadliest
week since April. The number of Americans hospitalized with COVID-19 surpassed
100,000 for the sixth consecutive day, and cases have climbed by more than 1
million over the last five days, bringing the total number of infections to
nearly 15 million.
