Minnesota hospitals are caring for nearly twice as many COVID-19 patients as they did at the end of February following an increase in new coronavirus infections. As of Sunday, 448 people were in Minnesota's hospitals with COVID-19 complications, compared with 232 on Feb. 28, according todata released by state health officials. Minnesota health officials announced 3,014 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and four additional deaths. The Minnesota Department of Health said the relatively high case count includes new cases that were reported over the past three days, including reporting delays caused by the Easter holiday and a technical issue from Saturday.
