41-Year-Old Congressman-Elect Dies from Coronavirus

Louisiana Republican Luke Letlow contracted COVID a week before Christmas (WDSU).

From Steve Scalise: Devastated to hear of my friend Congressman-elect Luke Letlow’s passing. Luke had such a positive spirit and a tremendously bright future. Join me in praying for his young family during this incredibly difficult time (Twitter).

It’s been the worst month yet for the virus (ABC News).

And the UK version of Covid that is more contagious has made its way to Colorado (Washington Post).

From Allahpundit: The official number of vaccinated Americans right now is north of two million. The feds were aiming for 20 million by New Year’s. Someone pointed out last night on Twitter that we’ve had around three million new confirmed cases of COVID in the U.S. since the vaccination rollout began, which means at the moment the virus itself is immunizing people more efficiently than Operation Warp Speed is (Twitter).
