The Nebraska Department of Veterans’
Affairs (NDVA) is working to establish the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery at
Grand Island–which will be the second state-administered veterans cemetery in
Nebraska. As part of this process a master plan and program statement will be
prepared to support a federal grant application to fund the project.
Information about the conceptual site layout, preliminary building designs,
project cost estimates, and anticipated timeline will be available at the
public open house. NDVA staff, members of the community advisory committee,
and the consultant team will also be there to discuss the project and answer
questions. No
formal presentations are planned. Stop by as your schedule allows. |
