Delta variant can evade immune response, study finds

Also published in the journal Nature today, a new study has found that the Delta coronavirus variant can "evade antibodies that target certain parts of the virus," wrote Apoorva Mandavilli of The New York Times. "The findings provide an explanation for diminished effectiveness of the vaccines against Delta, compared with other variants."
