Massachusetts' contact tracing program is ending

After 19 months and $160 million, Massachusetts will no longer use state-funded workers to help track new infections, my colleague Kay Lazar reported.

That responsibility will instead fall on local health departments. They've been advised to only investigate clusters from group settings, like health care facilities, homeless shelters, and schools.
