The shots should go to seniors and younger adults who have health conditions, jobs, or living situations that put them at an increased risk for COVID-19, the panel said.
Though the panel's recommendation is non-binding, it's one more step toward authorizing the boosters for public use.
A separate panel for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is set to meet next week to share more specific details about who they feel should get a booster dose.
