CDC significantly eases mask guidance

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday loosened its mask guidance, saying most Americans live in places where healthy people can safely stop wearing masks.

The CDC's new measure for determining COVID levels in each county in the country moves away from focusing just on COVID-19 case numbers to include indicators that point to what’s happening at hospitals.
