787 MA plans to offer supplemental benefits this year
An Avalere Health analysis found that more than 3 million Medicare
beneficiaries have selected Medicare Advantage plans with chronic illness
supplemental benefits for the 2021 coverage year, up from more than 1 million
beneficiaries who chose similar plans last year. Data showed 787 MA plans are
offering supplemental benefits this year, with meals being the most popular
benefit, offered by 356 plans, followed by food and produce, offered by 336 MA
plans, and pest control, offered by 200 plans.
