House clears path for Biden's $1.9T COVID-19 relief

House lawmakers voted 219-209 on Friday to give final approval to
a budget blueprint instructing congressional committees to start drafting
President Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion pandemic relief bill. The budget resolution
allows Democrats to pass Biden's relief proposal by a simple majority vote, and
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., expects the final bill to pass Congress
before March 15.
